I am now able to regularly exhibit my artworks, which include prints & greeting cards, every month at this venue along with other artists & crafts people.
The Craftsman's Market was formed in 1975 to provide an opportunity for people to buy or commission high quality hand made goods direct from the artist or crafts person.
At present we are temporarily located at the old Kings Head Hotel, which is a bit makeshift, whilst the usual location The Corn Hall next door is undergoing refurbishment. However Roman artefacts have been discovered which means that the site must now be properly excavated by archaeologists. Hopefully we will be able to move back in by autumn 2008. It should then be a lovely place to visit with a glass roof walkway & small shopping arcade.
Cirencester is an unspoilt market town with its history going back to Roman times. The Kings Head is situated in the centre of Cirencester & is only a short walk to car parking.
